At PentaCan our process includes:

  1. Getting a DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION making sure all the pertinent issues are covered.

  2. Getting the ATTENTION of the top 20% of the candidate pool and screening them based on qualification and interest.

  3. PRESENTING candidates, arranging INTERVIEWS, REFERENCE checking, OFFER presentation through ACCEPTANCE.

As PentaCan consultants will be investing their time and effort to find the individuals that fit our clients’ needs, we ask all our clients that they:

  1. Provide us with confirmation of budget approval for hiring

  2. Sign and Fax back the fee agreement promptly

  3. Provide feedback on resumes, interviews and on where our candidates stand in relation to others being considered for the position(s) within a reasonable time frame as this allows us to prioritize our searches and refine them if need be

  4. Communicate any changes to urgency to fill the opening(s), changes in technical requirements of the job(s) including differentiating between necessary versus preferred qualifications

  5. Access to as much information as possible regarding: company corporate culture, company size (number of employees, revenues, etc.), number of years in business, and any other pertinent information pertaining to management style and the structure of the hiring department(s), all of which will assist in fostering candidate interest in your company.


PentaCan’s fees are based on the complexity of the search, the specialization of the potential candidates, and the opportunity for additional or multiple search assignments. Naturally, our clients will want to discuss specific rates after we have determined the scope of the search.  Contract placements are discussed based on need.  We are equipped to provide payroll services with an acceptable margin.

Fees are charged on a contingency basis only when: we are successful in finding the right candidate for your needs, they accept the position and commence employment. 

We also provide the option of working on a retained basis, which can be discussed if it is of interest.  Choosing this option allows us to give a better rate to our clients and is also used in senior level / executive level searches.

For organizations where the need is greater than a few hires, PentaCan suggests the “Managed Recruiting Agreement” which ensures one-source fulfillment for all your recruiting needs.  The “Managed Recruiting Agreement” fee structure is determined after discussions and evaluation of your needs. 

3 MONTHS CONDITIONAL GUARANTEE - we will offer a 100% credit towards replacement if the applicant leaves within the first 45 (forty five) days and a 50% credit towards replacement in the next 45 (forty five) days.
